Bollig Inc has registered Engineers in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota. If your site qualifies for NRCS Technical Service Provider (TSP) cost-share, Bollig Inc is also certified in Minnesota and North Dakota to complete the design to program specifications.

 

EPA SPCC Program

By federal mandate, all Ag producers are to have a SPCC Plan in place according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

This mandate applies to any farm which stores more than 1,320 gallons of oil & fuel in aboveground containers.

An SPCC plan is a document that helps a farmer Prevent spills, Control any spills from reaching the environment and Countermeasures to contain, clean up and mitigate any spills.

SPCC Plans must be prepared and certified by a professional engineer if the total above ground oil storage capacity exceeds 10,000 gallons. The EPA allows small producers with storage less than 10,000 gallons to prepare and certify their own SPCC plan if the wish.

We have developed a plan format that provides the farmer with all the guidance they need to bring their site into compliance and stay compliant. We do not simply fill out the self certification form a farmer could do themselves, rather we provide one quality plan to all farmers regardless of farm size. Our plan includes site specific maps, forms, logs and a summarized list of actions and materials needed. It will enable the producer to spend less time behind their desk working on SPCC compliance and more time in the fields.

Bollig Inc has prepared the following price structure to assist farmers in becoming compliant with SPCC regulations.

SPCC Plan (one time fee for all farms above 1,320 gallons) - $1,700

 

Secondary Containment Solution

After completion of your SPCC plan Bollig Inc also offers Secondary Containment design and construction services.
